Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the first (and so far, only) company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the Role
Our infrastructure team is building and maintaining the back end services powering complex investment products across multiple blockchains. As an early engineer on a small team, you'll wear many hats and get the opportunity to help build out out our cloud infrastructure from scratch, implement scalable tooling to support fund management operations, and shape our development and internal processes.

What your responsibilities will be:

• Building risk analysis tools, automations, dashboards, and monitoring systems to facilitate the operation and optimization of Ondo’s on and off chain financial infrastructure
• Design, develop and maintain blockchain indexing solutions in the cloud
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence
• Create and maintain IT and cloud security and system access policies
• Researching, designing, and engineering of future products in a multi-chain Defi ecosystem

Skills and experience

• +/- 3 hours from the EST time zone — typically this means you're located in the Americas or Europe.
• At least two years of experience as a software engineer contributing to production code bases in an objected oriented language such as: Python, Typescript, C++, Java, etc
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
• Solid fundamental knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design
• A dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to best practices across the whole technology stack
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A demonstrated interest in blockchain technology
• Experience with dashboard technologies, log aggregators, cloud infrastructure and security (AWS) is a plus but not required
• Experience interacting with DeFi protocols, developing smart contracts in Solidity, or building TheGraph subgraphs in assembly script is a plus but not required
