Pantera Capital is an investment firm focused exclusively on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem. Pantera currently manages capital in eight funds across three product groups – passive, hedge, and venture and our Menlo Park office is seeking an Investor Relations Associate.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of IR and colleagues on on-going projects including oversight of trade processing (e.g., subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions) and cash flow reconciliation as well as non-routine strategic priorities such as technology systems enhancement and reporting automation
Serve as a subject matter expert on all matters related to Pantera’s investment strategies and the crypto markets
Attend investor and prospective investor meetings
Onboard and contribute to the KYC/AML review on behalf of current and potential investors
Work closely with teams such as Finance, Capital Formation, Legal and third-party service providers
Assist in maintaining and managing Pantera’s investor CRM
Monitor and respond to investor queries and foster relationships with new and existing investors via the IR inbox and phoneline

Qualifications

Prior 2-5 years’ experience working in fund related Investor Relations department or similar environment
Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchain/cryptocurrency technologies
Must have previous KYC/AML experience
Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy
Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter who has proven ability to cultivate relationships and help improve overall client relationship process/structure
Excellent personnel, project management, and time management skills
